System components
Robust host cell lines
We developed a glutamine synthetase (GS) knock-out cell line for producing antibodies, multispecifics, and other protein modalities.
To enable glycan engineering, we also generated a GS/fucosyltransferase (FUT8) double knock-out line that yields 100% afucosylated antibodies with a 10-fold boost in antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC).
Rapid hyperactive transposase and genetic parts library
We have developed a hyperactive transposase that enables stable expression with rapid recovery and a library of >1000 characterized genetic parts for use in CHO cell line development. These genetic parts span different cell functions, including promoters, untranslated regions, epigenetic insulators, signal peptides, polyadenylation signals, inducible systems, genome editors, and more.
High-throughput CLD-grade workflows
We have engineered a high-throughput, CLD-grade workflow that utilizes lab automation and miniaturization to generate hundreds of stable pools in just 10 weeks. Reduce the risk of low titer
- With our CHO Edge System, titers are typically 8-12 g/L or higher for both IgG monoclonal antibodies and more complex bispecific and trispecific architectures.
5 g/L or it's free
- We guarantee high titer cell lines for monoclonal antibodies. If the RCB generated for a mAb is under 5 g/L, the CLD campaign and all commercial use rights are free.

Computational design
We use our proprietary software, Kernel, for codon optimization, vector design, and biophysical simulation to make a panel of expression vectors.

Expression vectors are transfected to generate a panel of stable pools which are assessed for quality and titer performance.

Stable pool generated
The lead pool is cloned out with monoclonality verification via pre and post deposition imaging using the Cytena F-sightTM and Solentim Cell Metric®.

Clones characterized and banked
24-48 clones are progressed for fed-batch analysis at Ambr® 15 scale.

Bioreactor Ambr® 15 run
